...... und irgendwann viel es mir wie Schuppen von den Haaren. Heureka! Darum sieht die Mark II so ganz anders aus! Im ersten Grundregelwerk 1989 gab es noch gar keine Illustration zur Predator I, die kam erst in der zweiten Edition ins Buch (warum fällt mir das erst jetzt auf?). Dazwischen erschien der Straßensamuraikatalog (noch für die erste Edition), der die Predator II vorstellte und auch eine Abbildung dazu hatte. Das Design der Preadator I (ganz offensichtlich der Robocop-Wumme nachempfunden) entstandt also vermutlich erst nach der Predator II. Modell III und IV entstanden dann nach dem Vorbild der Mark I, die generell cooler wirkt und mit ihrer typischen "Flosse" wesentlich markanter ist als die Mark II.

I always thought it was interesting that they blatantly copied Robocop's version of the 93R for the original Predator, changed it completely for the second, and then went back for the third. I think the Predator IV might be the first version that is not a copy of a real weapon.
